[Mk2] [Turbo] Squeaking noise? mk2 rev2 turbo

Hey guys,

Just bought an MR2 off here and the seller was great and it managed the 350+ road trip back fine

but I noticed that i keephearing like a "chirping" squeaking type noise

, at first I thought nackered shocks at the rear but it doesnt sound like or feel like there nackered, soundslike the belts squeak or maybe the pulleys?

I notice it more when I come on boost and change up and cruise I will hear the squeaking noise.

Does not sound like the alternator/powersteering belts squeaking on start up its litterly a few milli seconds and then stops possibly does it when you hit a little bump.

the engine had a head rebuild with all the belts replaced 5k ago

Drop links going maybe, is anything rubbing in the engine bay?
Like intercooler pipes?

Where is the noise coming from the front/rear?

deffo coming from the rear.

could be drop links might see if i can grab a video or a recording of it doing.

chirps when you start the car from cold?

Not from hot? louder then you rev it? Could very well be exhaust manifold gasket.

Need to decide if it's engine or chassis.

It does do a little chirp of what must be the belts on start up but only lasts a few seconds?

Is that somthing to be worried about?

Yeah I really think its the engine noise rather than chassis noise.

I will try and get a video but im working nights all weekend

Thanks for all the suggestions though guys , Im determined to keep this car so would like to get all the niggles sorted out.
