Id get silencers anyhow, if you go somewhere like bedford you'll get black flagged. And if you do get black flagged for noise there you'll have to get even further under the limit to get back out #-o

I did a sound test on mine with a db meter and it made 98db at idle! God I love tunnels just not long trips

i used an app on my phone and i got 76db on idle :pale:

Phone apps are crap. You can get db meters cheap if you are worried, worth it if it saves you from losing out on a trackday

Cheap meters and iphone apps really under read on low sounds like exhausts and low bass, my meter read 113db on my sub yet on a termlab it read as 128db, on another setup an iphone app read 120db and the termlab read 148!

And A japspeed turbo 'xorst on an N/A will, in no way pass a noise test for any track. However considering the fact the OP is running a blower, it will quieten it down a bit. You'd certainly be risking it with a japspeed though. Consider a bung or silencer...

Or a better exhaust. :oldtongue:
