[Mk2] [Turbo] "shaved door handles" Door soleniod question

Hi guys, has any one here fitted door solenoids to the mk2? if so what lb were they and where did you connect into the door mech? im having trouble with my 40lb ones....

I took some of these off my car,
i didnt like the idea of an exterior hidden release or the posibilty that the battery fails,looked good but..........

its easily doable! i used ford boot release hinges as soon as they get live they smap open, perfect for oppening the door! also you can put the switch in the Rear door glass plastic, so its actually quicker to get in the car.

remeber your need an aftermarket alarm tho, otherwise anyone will be able to get in!!
