The bar behind the seat looks bent already lol

would that "Integrated Custom Roll Cage", that seems to be made out of similar profile alloy tubing to that which Cusco make our strut braces from, actually offer any protection in the event of a crash?
It looks like bracing to reduce body flex rather than a roll cage.

Just a bump to say engine and gearbox should be mounted very soon! Dropping the engine and gearbox of to thurston engineering next week to finish my adaptor plate as I just don't have the time to crack on with it.

That you did, it was so close to being sold. In fact it was sold, but the buyer bailed last minute due to not being able to collect it. After that I decided to soldier on and get it done.
Plans on it have changed slightly to lower costs and labour involved in doing this conversion. I have sold the gt40 turbo and am going back to twin turbo setup. Once I have the gearbox on the engine I can mount it all in and will be motivated to finish it!

Yes!
I thought it had sold and we wouldn't see any more of it.
I'll buy it from you when it's done

No defo gonna finish it.
Dunno if this has been done or asked before but gonna ask! The radiator slants backwards which seems to look inefficient to cool the radiator down? Surely it would be better slanted forwards scoop up the air? Mixed with a large vent in the bonnet would be much better at cooling my v12 down right?!

It is slanted back in order to allow the air that is coming in to escape out through the bottom of the car. There was nowhere else for it to go. You may notice that the bulk head just behind the radiator is shaped to allow this. Cut out that bulk head, tip the radiator forward. The air is now being thrown up and funnelled out through your Ford gt40 style bonnet. Less restrictive, more efficient and better cooling and you even get the smallest little bit of front end down force from your rad, ok that last bit is asking! If the gap between the inter cooler and the the radiator is too big you can get air turbulence between the two that will restrict the air flowing through the engine radiator.
I am not trying to make out i am a expert but i have been down this road.

That's what I was thinking looking closer at the original setup yesterday I see the funnel shaped bulkhead. As I'm not having the front mounted intercooler no more just the actual radiator turbulence shouldn't be an issue, but is good to know
