White Dials

Post by mk1bexwa »

Hi Everyone,

Ok so last night I was bored, and trying to keep myself awake after just coming back from holiday, I thought I would have a look at a recent purchase of mine. A set of white dials.

Here they are fitted in the cluster. Will get one when they on the car in the dark.

Sorry, but really don't like it.

I'm sure it's just me, no offence intended.

Also they are US dials aren't they which is why they have the unleaded only bit on them.

I like that look, would go well with the car-puter project I'm considering.

Where did you get the dials if that isn't a cheeky question?

Display Flickering! :?

Post by Elliott_Knight »

Hi, Im new to the site.
I just wanted to ask, as I have just purchased a white display off of ebay like this. Do you just replace the white plastic bit or do you use the new dials and adjust the mileage?
I would like to replace the whole unit as my one has started flickering, turns off and back on again completely unpredictable! I have removed the unit before and searched for loose connections but cant find any, so Im hopping by changing the unit the problem will be solved! How would I go about adjusting the mileage? The old drill trick?
cheers!

I'm not keen either.

Mr Plod will drive past, see them, then pull you over.

Didn't say it was illegal, they use any excuse to pull you over.

Thanks I know they aren't to everyone's liking but I like them and they are different. I'm sure there are things on other peoples cars I don't like lol. Its what makes us different.

Sorry Bex I was being a grumpy b*stard.

I'd just be concerned about the main beam headlights blending in with the background.
