Dipstick lengths

Are there different length dipsticks for different models/revs?
My dipstick is too long and sticks out at the top, it measures 545mm from the underside of the cap to the bottom...

No idea. Just get a s/h dipstick that is correct for your car.

Only ones i can fine are rev 3 ones, i assume they will fit rev 5s?

I don't know. TBH, i've never compared dipstick lengths. Rev1-2 has different part number, so in some way is different to Rev3-5.

I do have a Rev1 in the workshop - i'll measure it and post length.
