No idea where to get it, but looks like best solution to the problem of getting gauges in, I'd prob go for one too if they were available and didn't cost an arm and a leg - wouldn't be too impossible to make up though with some MDF, some P-38 and vinyl lol!

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] dash pods
How about one mounted in the dash, in either a DIN or blower outlet slot?

Mine are also where the heat vents used to be. You still get heating through the window vents and feet vents and even in the coldest days of last winter i was nice and warm in the car.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] dash pods
If you excuse my blurry phone camera, you can get a generic pod to fit ok. Not quite the same as a purpose built pod, but can be made to work:

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] dash pods
that looks far from ok

That's because it was a rough trial fit and stuck on with silicone. I decided I preferred looking at a pillar pod so didn't finish it off. As I said, though, generic will never be as good as purpose built.

I can order these from the manufacturer in Japan they're not cheap though, the MR2 one for example retails for £123 in Japan.
