+ mileage, IF fully verifiable with old MOT's and matching condition
+ factory AC on a UK car - rare

- sunroof model, so probably cloth seats, not superb condition leathers you would want with that low mileage.
- slightly overpriced imo.

Thanks for the input, I felt it was slightly overpriced too but if it is immaculate then it may be worth it - shame it's a 3hr drive for me to find out!
Reckon it's worth about 1500?

Check the a/c is actually working (click of magnetic clutch and revs rise when engaged) and don't accept "it jsut needs a regas" as an excuse if it doesn't. If it just needs a regas, why haven't they done it? Aircon systems without gas in them tend to degrade and it could cos hundreds of pounds to fix #-o

Thanks Alan, yes i thought so too, the guy seems very reluctant to budge on 2k though and it's the cleanest looking one close (ish) to me...

Well to be fair, they are rated up to 149mph :)

Personally I'd say cloth seats is a plus.
You're unlikely to get immaculate leather seats on a 15 year old car. Anyway, who wants freezing seats in winter and boiling seats in summer :)

Just because you got your car cheap doesn't mean every other seller should under price their car :)

Reckon it's worth about 1500?

Look at other rev4's on Autotrader etc, £1500 is probably about right.

I'm more put off by the fact that the seller hasn't included many photos. Gumtree allows 9 photos.

A car is worth what someone wants to pay for it... I sold my import anniversary NA in '08 for £3200

I think 2k is a fair price, just hate how ppl are running SW20 prices to the ground :^o

I'm tempted just to pay it, not many rust free examples around these days :(

Without seeing it in person I think its somewhere between 1750 - 2000. That is dependent on things like the sills, air con, etc...

I think that MR2 prices might actually be starting to creep up again.

Don't know why you're complaining, well worth the price for the age and miles on it.

Agree with Odin_S on the price.

1600 will get you this and much closer to you:

I didn't think the UK cars had Aircon :-k :-k :-k :-k

So if it has then its an import and should be asking why has it got a UK rear bumper.

If it hasnt then you should be asking why his stated its got air con and what other bits of bull his come up with.

For £2k i wouldn't be driving 3 hours for it as it's already over priced

I thought the same about the air con but I'm sure you could get that as an option here?

Not over priced at all. :thumleft:

air con was an expensive optional extra for a UK car. That is a UK car.

its 2k, hardly over priced

It is definitely a UK car, according to the owner, he says the aircon is working too.

Wasn't really complaining about the price, that's up to the seller, just wanted some opinions.
The MOT is showing the steering rack inner joint (s) has some play as an advisory, is this an easy fix and will it show up as a steering wobble or similar?
