Massive thanks to user gavinda for the brackets and the tip on the Filter.

Thanks Karl,

Being relatively new to the MR2 Forums i didnt think that the thread would really be of any interest to more seasoned owners, i'm just putting my stamp on the car.

Now im possibly looking for a 3sGTE crank as im edging towards building my engine, but currently only have 2 scored cranks ( which if need be i'll get reground and use ) but id rather have a fresh one. Also does anyone have any info on supposed 'thicker' 3SGTE blocks?

If someone has a thick block and fresh crank to donate...

Also more cage pics,

feet bolted in, Not happy with the supplied M10s so going to swap out to something bigger but for now they can hold the positions.

and my subbox still fits

Thanks as always guys.

Gave my Badged centre panel a quick spray - think it looks a lot better with the 'MR2' than without

Also my Rocker cover has been modified to allow the COP units i have to seat and seal correctly.

This was done by machining down aluminium tube to slot into the standard recess then welded in place. Securing tabs still need drilling and tapping.

I know the photos look as though i took them with a Potato but thats all i have.

Part way through installing some new shelving into the garage

Which allowed me to get these shots

Thats all for now as ive spent the last 3 days either in bed or hugging the loo

Ive actually hit a slight change of plans engine wise hoping to create something quite fun.

The wheels do appear to attract some attention. :D

Haven't really done much recently, been gathering info and have started a menial job working for Halfords, not ideal but it's getting me out of the house.

After a lengthy and very informative call to Peter @ Sbits (absolutely top bloke) I had a think over plans and eventually after a short search have decided upon a course of action...

Stage one of which arrived today

and finally tucked up inside.

The plan is 5S-GTE. 8)

A minimal amount of physical progress at the moment but the planning/preperation stages are well under way.

Part of the minimal progress however is...

while i was collecting that it would have been rude not to get this for the price, its battered and dented underneath but then it will be running my car low anyway.

That Autopista looks familiar :-k

Looks better on your car than mine (as in how it lines up with side pieces) as I had the side pods bonded onto my rev3, rather than where Toyota bolted them to rev 1/2 cars.

Nur spec is a great exhaust, nice work.

Car's looking fab mate :thumleft:
