Gauging interest and valuation.

Post by mk1bexwa »

Hi All,

I am not sure what I want to do, I may be offered another mk1 but want to know what mine could be worth.

So here goes,

Full rear arch rebuild
Resprayed cadbury purple
Custom exhaust
Momo steering wheel
New T-bar seals and guides
Rage bucket seats
K 'n' N Air filter
111300 miles
White dials
Stainless gear knob
Stainless engine parts
Apex springs
Front strut brace
Clear indicators and side repeaters

Think thats everything.

Anyone have any sort of idea what I may be able to sell my car for?

Thanks in advance

Very hard to value Beckie, the money you have spent will never be recouped but my own personal opinion is £2000 +
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Dont let it go for a silly price. You will be kicking yourself if you sell for a grand and then in 5 or 6 years you see these cars fetching 4 or 5 grand as they get rarer. T bar seals sorted and arches done is a massive plus surely when selling/buying a MK1? If it was mine I`d take no less than £1600 right now, but if it was mine I dont think id be selling it as I think they are worth more than the current climate dictates.

Thanks for the replies.

I was just trying to get an idea as I may be getting a v6 mk1 but if not I will keep mine and turbo it.
