PN-Request: Late SW20 Front Fender Linders & Speed Flap/Spoiler Brackets

Post by dj_Twin_turbo »

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the correct Part Numbers for the little brackets that hold the speed flaps and the proper fender liner to go with? I purchased the speed flap/spoiler pieces that go in front of the wheel, but I would like to properly secure them, and don't want to drill any holes.
Thanks!

Very much so, thank you.
I had thought there was a little bracket between the flap and the liner.
I can't seem to see it in that drawing, though. Unless its 90387-07032, but it doesn't quite look like it.

Or you could just buy the flaps and 6 nuts/bolts and drill (very easy) the original arch liners and bolt them on. Really isnt worth going to the trouble and great expense of buying the arch liners, theyre exactly the same as earlier ones just without the 3 holes in them

Of course, I could, but I'm interested in doing it properly :)

Is it beneficial to have a speed flaps? Will I feel anything at high speeds?
If it is, I am going to cut some plastic and fit them. The car will be mostly used for the track.

I never noticed and improvement after fitting but then again, I didnt spend £150+ on the 'proper' rev 5 arch liners with the special 3 holes pre drilled :oldtongue:
I just marked and drilled six 4mm holes and they were fitted in no time

Jesus, what's the big deal if I've decided that I want to buy the parts? I'm not saying everyone else has to, or even that it's in some was better than drilling holes. Thanks to abovetherim for actually coming to my thread to help.

Sounds good, I won't miss the sarcastic jabs. As evidenced by my first post, I am well aware that drilling is an option.
