mr2 quad rear light conversion

Post by alan_uk »

hi all,

if i was going to do the quad rear light conversion on my rev5 mr2 im thinking of doing it like this
http://www.mr2oc.co.uk/know-your-2-know ... bartid=211

if i was to buy a rev1-2 rear light loom could i use the brake light holders from it or would i need a set of rev3+ looms, as i think the plugs should be and work the same am i right ?

Just get a couple of twin filament bulb holders and add a few wires.

Well I've got the chance to get a rev1 loom for free I just didn't know if the stop light holder would be the same wiring wise as a rev3+?

If you want to keep your fog lights working, only a few wires won't be enough. I made this mod. It was not a difficult job, but took some time to wire and solder everything.

He didn't just use a few wires, he used some diodes too.
