Any one ever tried one of these?

Post by HughesR1 »

Just wondering if anyone has fitted one of these succesfully?

Looks like a bit of a universal fit item so I'm guessing you'de have to chop up the interior plastics and cubby box :/

Not seen that one, but there is another specifically designed for the MR2 that fits underneath the rear window. Perfect fit, and perfect height for harnesses.

PM Kongeroo. He'll tell you where he got his from.

I bought mine second hand from the US from a guy on MR2OC.COM

It is an EMS powered one - not sure if they still make them or not but I guess you could always ask him?

I found a link to an old group buy here:

Hope that helps anyway :thumleft:

Cheers for the info!

I'm contemplating on drawing something up at work and seeing how much our supplier would charge to knock it up!

Hi Jay - yes it's still in the car although I'm still happily using the stock seatbelts at the moment for convenience so it's only acting as a glorified inner cabin brace at the moment

Stevie - I know what you mean about EMS - they seem rather hit and miss over on the american forums in terms of getting products shipped out. The still get positive and negative comments in the trader feedback section on MR2OC.COM so would appear to still be up and runnning though.

HughesR1 - good luck with your project :thumleft:
