Do you also eat pickled onions in the bath while polishing your parts?

I've never actually used the bath since buying this place, true fact  Well, other than to wash CAR parts

And yes, we do have a shower and yes I use that instead :eye:

Fantastic work by the both of you Phil :thumleft: Mule MK2 is born 8)

It's great you never gave up after what happened with the MK1 Mule and nice to know I'm not the only one pumping some serious wedge in their car

Thanks Paul :thumleft:

I did consider throwing in the towel at the time, however I just couldn't as it would have been a defeat. I've always told myself I'm only doing this once (for myself at least), so do it once do it right. It's sometimes hard to remember then when you're bleeding cash on a daily basis  It is worth it in the end, i think :-k

Now the Power FC is installed it was time to mount the Commander unit. First off I needed an extension lead, as the lead with it isn't long enough to reach the boot. This is just a no brand 1.5m eBay job, £1.78 delivered :thumleft:

The bracket needed a little something to keep a good friction grip in the dash
Image

Drilled a feed hole in the dashboard and threaded the lead through

Test fit

Standard PS/2 leads have an extra pin to the PFC lead
Image

Long nosed pliers to remove the pin

Boot connections done

All back together

It lives :thumleft:

Pro version confirmed

Sorted :D

Next up is to do something with that spare DIN slot

After EU legislation meant we had to close the money tree plantation down, I needed something to fall back on

I was planning on paying Ryan another visit (dry day this time...) now it's completed, just to make sure the map is spot on for the engine as is etc. The cams, shims etc were way off (previous owner/engine builder) which meant Ryan couldn't hit anywhere near it's potential.

It does fee very different now the engine engine work has been done (for the better), so a visit to get a solid, reliable map would top it off nicely.

Will check the diary and see what we can do, looking forward to seeing the new beast.

On a side note are you interested in checking out the new Rolls Royce?...

Oh yes

There's a few outstanding regular things to complete, such as:

Fit new rear discs (they sent the wrong ones before)
Heat wrap and Nimbus wrap the CC pipes
Sort the front tyres as there's a rub on full lock, plus another issue I won't mention..

Then there's a load of custom bits in the pipeline. Some just for the car, others as part of a few things I'm looking to explore in the future :-#
