Hello
I have just fitted a japspeed exhaust on my car and the midsection seems to be very close to the sump. Is this normal? There is a couple of mm gap.
Will there be any problems from the heat of the exhaust to the sump?
Thanks
Dan

Cant remember from the top of my head it being that close! I know its fairly close to the sump though. shouldnt really be an issue - quite a few people run these on their turbos and its been fine.

I remember when I had one ages ago, and fitted it, the middle hanger was not used, and it required bashing in clear the sub frame.

Yep. One of the worst-fitting exhausts on the market. But then it is the cheapest. Go figure......

mine rubbed on the sump, used the middle bracket fine and needed a dent putting in it to stop it banging the subframes lol

Yeah, you get what you pay for.
