looking for advise on seats

ive purchased some lovely mk3 seats for my mk2 , will they fit direct or is there a modification ?

Bass hunter I see your in Exeter. I'm currently working there and only live up at jun 22 . Are there any meets your way ?

finally got seats fitted today inbetween to showers , really happy with result . will post pics when get time .

there is a link to how to fit them into a mk1 from basshunter at top of this thread . it is very similar to that . seat belt went straight in no need to change . ignore the measurements that they give for cutting down the runners . i just measured origional and cut them to that . only thing i cant get exactly right is the bearings on the runners .there is one at each end and when u cut runner down one will fall out . no problem putting back but they jammed when adjusting seat . there are 3 sets of small raised nipples (cant think wot to call them but u will understand when looking ) i filed the middle set down and seat will adjust but not very smooth . this was on passenger side and i have set right back and dont see any need to adjust . on the drivers side i left the bearing out and seat can be adjusted but not sat in it . again only i intend on driving car so once set doesnt need moving .sorry no pics . you will need a good drill and a few 6mm and 1x 8mm drill bit .
