Hi all, I'm trying to re-fit my T-VSV as it works alongside my Unichip. It was removed while the engine was being rebuilt.
the TVSV has 2 vacuum hose connections coming from it but when I am under the car, where the TVSV belongs, I can see 3 vacuum hose connections, 1 of which is blocked up with a bolt (from the rebuild)
Can someone explain which hose goes where and what is the hose for that is blocked up?
I'll try and get some photos but its a hard place to take them from.
Any help would be really appreciated!
Cheers, Michael.

here is the photo from underneath the car:
I "think" the one blocked up is from the actuator but I have no idea where the other 2 (you can see the black metal hose connections) go. Can anyone help?
Cheers, Michael.

OK, so I've traced the 2 black pipes to above the engine...
Here you can see them up close and then where they are located in the bay:
My question now is, where should they goto?? Does anyone have any photos or can they tell me? I can't see where they should be attached too.
I'm totally confused now!

if you've mounted it the right way round, the metal pipe coming from actuator goes to the pipe on the vsv nearest the block. then other pipe can vent to atmosphere but should be plumbed to the hard pipe coming down from the inlet manifold.
hope that makes sense!

Thanks for that but to me that makes no sense. Any photos from the top of the engine bay? Or any diagrams? As you can see from the pics, i think the pipe that is blocked under the car should goto the actuator? But then i have 2 more pipes on top of the engine going nowhere. Totally confused!!

Do they happen to be part of a bracket that bolts to the engine mounting close to the distributor?

Yes Peter they do!! You should be able to see the two pipes in the pics above.
Cheers, Michael.

IIRC, goes from hot pipe to AC idle-up VSV. But many people bypass it with a single length of hose.
