[Mk2] [Turbo] SFS performance hose problem?

Post by Johnr32 »

I have just ordered a SFS turbo hose kit for my rev 2 turbo.
http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/prod_ca ... ake=toyota

Only problem is the hose for the throttle body seems shorter (it measures ~5cm) whereas the original toyota hose is ~7cm. It looks a lot shorter than the picture as advertised on their site aswell...just wanted to know whether it will still fit or is it too short?

A bit gutted that after 2 weeks waiting this is what I get..

I could..I'm still upset I paid good money for a poorly designed product which was made to order. I've contacted them to see what they will do, im just hoping their customer service isnt anything like this.
Will see how well it fits when I get time during the weekends.

Probably just a mistake. I have used SFS a few times and always been happy with what seems good quality silicon.

speak to Lee. Say Luke sent you. He'll send the right one out no charge I would've thought.

SFS have always been 100% top-notch when I've dealt with them, can't see this being an issue :thumleft:

Just a quick update, I've spoken to Anthony at SFS and he has agreed to send a new one to me which is excellent news. 8)
Can't wait to fit the turbo hose kit - judging by rest of the hoses they 'should' fit, hopefully none of the other hoses are problematic!
