Can anyone reccomend a universal aerial that fits a rev 3 MR2?

You could always fit an interior aerial if you can't find a suitable replacement.

Alternative is Blaupunkt tax disc aerial type with amplifier £30ish ebay or a place in Woodstock, doubles up as tax disc holder.Benefits are there is nothing to externallly grab.

No, the aerial cable that runs from the stereo to the boot just unplugs and you can plug something else into it. You can see it pretty clearly if you pull the carpet up in that corner by the boot hinge.

Cheers for that Toxo! Just fitted it and works great! Just connected the 12v to the supply provide for the electric aerial and that was it! nice advice!

Reception is absolutely fine. All local and national stations are clear in my area. That position is where I had the best reception but would have preferred somewhere a little more subtle. It's all good though!
