Kind of mr2 related

Post by SuperRedMR2 »

Right,

Problem is:-

How do I get a 4AGE engine c/w gearbox onto the back of a half truck transit, flat bed is 1.2m above the ground without the use of an engine hoist/crane?

Getting it off may be easier, but getting it on you cant use gravity as its so bloody heavy!

Any ideas?

Yes, the one who's house its at.

We're not weak, but we also have to work the next day and don't want a horrific back problem.

Getting some sort of ramp made at work shouldn't be an issue but my brain is currently mashed and can't think of anything.

Could the buyer bring a mate along Alex :?:

That'd make four of you to lift :)

Peter, I did suggest to the buyer about coming to my mate's in Clacton and picking it up but he wanted to knock me for £15 worth of diesel.

The box will be split and therefore I should be able to pick the lump up myself.

two very long planks of wood, tie it to them, lift from the ends.
Works every time.

be easier inversting in a winch but should be easy enough to lift if there are 2 and you split it
