Adrian flux have NEVER been competitive or anything close for me, they've always been hundreds of pounds more expensive than the quote I've taken. Haven't exactly heard good things about their customer service either.

They were double 3 other companies when quoting for my Noble. 2 years running. :roll:

They were the cheapest for me, back when I took out my first car insurance on my NA. :neutral:

Indeed, I've no idea what combination of details results in a good quote but mine certainly aren't winners. No idea why, good postcode, over 25, 3 years ncb and no claims or convictions.

Simple things like profession can affect. I'm an Engineer in the automotive industry (vehicle dynamics) and if I put Automotive Engineer my premium is triple that of Engineer.

Also adding my mum as a NAMED driver reduces it by a further 200 quid. So fully comp for 500 quid a year 2 years NCD and 24!

Quoting me £1200 as a 31yr old with 9yrs ncb and a £1500 fault claim against me. :lol:
