Mr2 Crash Today

So Did anyone see the Mr2 Crash where the A40 meets the M25 this morning?

Was a white Mk2

My boss spotted it.

Yeah, bad news. My wife was stuck in the tailback for 2 hours, half way between the M25 and M40 J2. She emailed me this photo of a yellow car, whatever it was, as she passed the scene of the accident. Two cars and a lorry were involved in the crash. She didn't mention that an MR2 was involved.

Didnt see anything but the M40 was closed at the M25 junction this afternoon when I came through (half 3, 4 ish), hope it wasnt the same accident as it would mean it was pretty bad.

THE M40 is now closed following an accident earlier this morning.


The road is closed north bound between junction 1A M25 and junction two Beaconsfield after an accident involving three vehicles at 11.21am.

Three people were taken to Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.

One person is being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford by air ambulance.

Police said the M40 south bound would be temporarily closed to allow the helicopter to take off.

The vehicles involved were a yellow Ford, a grey Honda Anaconda and a green Mercedes van.

Cars are being diverted on the M25 clockwise to junction 17 (Maple Cross), then A412 south to Denham and A40 west to rejoin the M40 at junction 2.

The Highways Agency has reported congestion on the A40 to Swakeleys Roundabout, Uxbridge and the M25 up to junction 16 following the accident.

They said they expect traffic to clear by 3.30pm.

No mention of an MR2 being involved.

Was actually my boss that told me this morning, He was sure it was an MR2. He also said the driver was on the phone on the hard shoulder, perhaps this is a different crash?
