since the car is off the road at the moment i have decided to tidy up the small things on my car so here goes
space saver powder coated black
paint had been peeled off in the spare wheel well over the years
rubbed back surface rust
painted hammerite smooth to protect
then over the top i carpeted the area
all bolts replaced with allen key bolts
next i decided that the grey carpet around the cover no longer looked right
so i carpeted it black
next i started cleaning the bonnet with spirit wipe to get rid of 18 years of dirt
finished cleaning just needs polishing now
found a pair of grommets to fill holes in the bonnet (BEFORE)
(AFTER)
crash hinge bolts (before)
& after along with new wing bolts
i have used these allen key bolts on lots of things ie wiring loom in frunk area etc
wiper bolts
headlamp
boot hinge
& domed nuts for shocks

Thanks guys , if you do carpet the frunk make shore you use speaker box carpet as you can stretch & shape that stuff Then just some high tak spray glue on both surfaces
