Discussion and technical advice the SW20 MR2. 3S-GTE, 3S-GE, 3S-FE etc
Anything and everything to do with maintenance, modifications and electrical is in here for the Mk2.
Well I have to be honest, I wasn't 100% on the colour when I got them back from refurb, but having had the tyres fitted(Yoko AD08) and put them on the car I'm sold!
I know they won't be everyone's cup of tea but anyway, pics!
I have some universal centre caps which I'll fit at some point once I've decided what logo to put on them.
Thanks man £200, it was that price because no tyres needed removing and refitting, I removed all the bolts and I went for painted lips instead of polished.
I still love the OEM orange indicators and toblerones look so it works well with them.
My dad thinks mine will look naff back to OEM for those two bits; I think I'd have to change the wheel colour to pull it off completely.

to be fair, the MR2 MK2 was introduced in 1989. It should look dated JDM retro Yo!
A Rev 3 on MR2 still looks relatively fresh, especially if fitted with a suitable set of wheels and clear indicators and repeaters. Those wheels date the car. Retro style wheels suit Mk1 MX5s, for example, but look wrong on Mk2 MR2s.
