Hhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm

Maybe colour coded panel with a black MR2 sign...

I've come up with an idea that would look lovely but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Rev1 light with a modified Rev3+ centre panel which has the reversing lights in, and no added decals, etc...

Any ideas if the above is do-able?

Rev3 centre panel would need to be modified to fit (the sides would need to be built up so that the panel is rectangular)

Otherwise you will end up with a curved gap on either side of the lights

I was thinking about that, but some fiberglass layers should sort that out...

Just wondering about re-locating the reversing lights to the centre panel, and how easy this would be. Also wondering what would happen to the redundant reversing sections on my current lights ... maybe a change to a quad running light at the rear?

The other option (in relation to the centre panel) is that I fit reversing lights to my fibreplass panel and then bond this to my original. It would take less fettling but I feel that the finished product probably wouldn't look as good or be as secure.

Decisions decisions...

I think this looks well smart if you like the rev 1/2 lights.

WOW ... simply wow! I love that :D

Probably a little out of my current price range though. I wonder if one could be made for cheaper and easy enough :-k

It would certainly make your car different!

Be easier putting rev 3 reverse lights in an aftermarket smooth rev1/2 panel mate :thumleft:

that panel that looked like the panel for the old ferrari testarosa looked good on the mr... very unusual but i have seen it done before... i imagine you could make up a new centre panel easily enuff from fibreglass tho to your own exact spec and it should be sturdy and safe enuff aswell
