Campaigned in the 2010 season 750MC MR2 Super GT Series this car achieved numerous pole positions and 6 race wins from a total of 11 starts (more race wins than all other competitors combined). Due to an engine failure earlier in the year Im offering the car for sale without an engine for a bargain price. The cost of the parts alone used to develop this car into a consistent race winner far exceeds the asking price.
All it needs to be highly successful again is a replacement engine. Replacing the engine it has been running for the past two seasons (a forged 3S-GTE 2.2ltr turbo) would cost £4,112 (including labour), while a stock 3S-GTE 2.0ltr turbo would be considerably less. Another highly attractive option would be to install a 2GR-FE 3.5ltr V6 for £6,941 (including labour). These costs are for Rogue Motorsport to install the engine, doing it yourself would obviously be cheaper still.
Front track has been increased by 20mm & rear by 60mm. Wheel arches extended for 16x8 front wheels & 17x9 rears (two full sets included). Full aero package with front splitter, dual front canards, full flat floor, rear diffuser with APR GT-II carbon wing. Airflow redirected through the vented bonnet and weight has been significantly reduced. Completely re-worked cooling with custom Radtech radiator & charge cooler rad for GT4 charge cooler and a high performance oil cooler.
The clutch has just been upgraded to an OS Giken STR twin plate clutch including lightweight flywheel and Performance plate type LSD with an E153 Turbo Gearbox. CDA Carbon Dynamic airbox, upgraded Walbro 255ltr/hr fuel pump and custom exhaust and Turbo Technics CT20b stage 1 Hybrid Turbo. BC Racing RM series inverted coil over suspension, Whiteline front & rear adjustable roll bars. Carbotec XP10 race spec brake pads, braided brake lines and ducted cooling.
Momo 80 steering wheel, Cobra Evolution seat, Schroth Profi II-6 Slip-Stop quick adjust Harness, Race Technology DL1 Data Logger & DASH3. FIA 6 point Roll Cage, Lifeline club fire marshal 2.25ltr extinguisher, and lots more...
Pictures can be found in the Pistonheads Classified section (www.pistonheads.com/sales/3507120.htm). It's worth noting that since the pictures were taken the car has been developed even further and now has polycarbonate windows, more efective engine cooling with larger side air scoops a boot mounted oil cooler, larger bonnet air vent and dual front canards for increased downforce. The sponsors logos have been removed, the car has been re-sprayed and can be viewed at Rogue Motorsport.
In addition to the 750 Motor Clubs MR2 Super GT Series this car would also be eligible for the Nippon Challenge and other race series.
PM me if you are interested but please dont waste my time with low offers as this is a bargain price for such a highly developed race car with a proven race pedigree.

OK, I've just bumped the price to see if anyone is interested before I put a new engine in it? Six weeks till the race season starts, time to get on track and have some fun!

EH? Go price up just some of the parts involved and the labour to professionally fit, and I'm pretty sure you will well exceed the price being asked..

Adding mods to a car does not increase its value.
The car is only going to appeal to racing drivers but they probably would want to buy there own MR2 which you could pick up for £500.00, shove in their own engine/suspension/electronics for roughly 8000.00.
So you have a race prep MR2 for 8500.00 with an engine that moves the damn thing.
And they chap is selling it saying it has race pedigree....but it has no longer got the engine in that made it win the races?
Anyway glws

Suspension, brakes and aero can easily exceed the cost of an engine.
Re: MULTI-RACE WINNING, HIGHLY DEVELOPED MK2 MR2 SUPER GT - £7,500
I'm with hedgehog dodger on this. Not only because of his fantastic name haha but i always think a car is only worth as much as someone will pay. Iv learned that lesson the hard way more than once :0(
