[Mk2] [Generic] front brake discs.

Post by msherry21 »

Hi all, I'm in the process of swapping over my front suspension. On looking at the brake disc, its only held on by the brake caliper/pads and obviously the wheel (when its attached) Is there not supposed to be a few screws holding it onto the hub or anything? Confused!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Michael.

No the wheel being bolted to the brake disk is more than enough to stop it moving..

screw

the small screw just stops the disc spinning on the hub when putting the wheels on (but rust usually works better) its the wheel bolts that hold the disc solid against the hub.
