I have all the paper work for work carried out and and all the import certificates etc.
Never had a problem with cold starts etc, always let the turbo idle before turning off the car. Car was 75k miles when I bought it and is now 88k from 3 and a half years of ownership. I only commute to and from work and take great care when I drive the car.

The work I have had done to the engine has been with Rogue motorsport, an Mr2 specialist. I haven't done any mods to the engine, I've kept it as standard as I can.

Coolant leak fixed 03/12/2009 £225
Core plug replaced 03/12/2009 £27
New battery 11/11/2009 £79
Clutch replaced 2010 (I can't seem to find the paper work for this I'm afraid)
Rear repeater bulbs replaced 16/10/2010 £55
Handbrake cable replaced 09/03/2011 £160
OEM BOV replaced 28/03/2011 £54
Electric Automatic Aerial motor replaced 28/03/2011 £54
Cambelt changed + New TPS 21/03/2011 £235
Idler bearings upgraded 21/03/2011 £84
Water pump changed 21/03/2011 £197
Interior light bulbs changed £30

As you can see I have spent over £1200 on keeping the engine in shape. This is excluding air/coolant/oil filter changes etc. The engine is absolutely perfect, the Turbo lift is perfect.

I want to be as honest as possible, the bad points are all associated with the exterior paint work. This was the next point of focus on the car but as I am now forced to sell this is no longer viable for me. Luckily there are plenty of sources for mr2 parts such as imoc.co.uk and mr2 owners club. The paint work is also the main reason for the bargain price, I have factored in that the buyer will need to spend money on the exterior of the car.

Bad points(all shown in the pictures):

Front bumper has some cracks on the bottom lip with some bubbling above the plate
The trim is missing near the side repeaters
I had the bonnet touched up so it is an ever so slightly darker shade, the rest of the car is original paintwork so has faded somewhat in comparison.
The rear bumper has faded paint on the edge of one corner
On the drivers door along a small bit of the edge the paint has degraded away and there is a slight bit of rust. Sand, filler and paint should fix it quite easily. This is also the only rust I am aware of on the car.
Engine lid has a couple of light scratches

Rear tyres could do with replacing

There is one other thing, the clutch may squeek at times when being pressed, this merely needs oiling.

Well I just copy pasted from my pistonheads advert, I'm sure everyone here knows everything about mr2s hopefully I've priced it correctly. If it is a bit out of your range just pm me and well see if we can come to a compromise.

£2000ono

The fastest response will be through my email, [email protected]

Thanks

Ok an update on the ad, I decided to go into my shed and get my other alloys out.
I was expecting them to be in really bad shape but they seem totally fine with only minor scratches. I think the only reason I never stuck them on is because I wanted to stagger the alloys.
These alloys as a set cost me £800 and I will be giving these away with the car.

I also discovered:

Additional alloy (1) which matches the front two wheels, tyre is new.

On the Kei alloys one tyre has a gash in but the other tyre is completely fine, as new.

A spare bonnet which I remember either ordering from mr2ben, unfortunately the courier managed to bend the tips at the front which would force me to bend them back and respray... I didn't get any help off mr2ben in the end. So I just stuck it in the shed.

I have a drivers side wing which would need a respray.

I have the trim and indicators for the car which only needs a respray and then can be fitted.

I still have the old aerial motor which gave up on me, it failed because the teeth inside had grinded away. If you are tech savvy you can open it up and fix it.

Various japanese items, cloth/polish etc that I found in the car when I bought it. Grill for the sub, took it off because it was too close to the speaker, spacers may fix that.

Buyer will receive all this but I recommend bringing another car to carry it all away in. If you don't want this stuff then no problem, I'll try and sell it on.

Edit:

Forgot to mention I also have the original jap indicator lenses.

Thanks Nails,

I was very apprehensive in dealing with him but your comments and his own feedback have put me at ease. I haven't had any contact with him for a couple of days so hopefully he is still coming tomorrow...
