How violently do the rear ones open up? Using the stock rod we find that the lid keeps scraping on our scoop and taking the paint off. I think a gas lifter would be a worthwhile mod if they are not too eager to pop up and rip hinges off.

I have a KO racing engine.one now, will be interested in bonnet ones though, and it does come up rather quickly after you lift it about a 3rd of the way. Very cool though and highly recommend mod for sure. Beats the stock one that kept coming off in my hand...

We would have to do some tests for pressure! When I used to sell the ones for the fto bonnets I had the manufacturers put different pressures in the pistons as carbon and fibre glass bonnets and engine covers may get damaged if the pressure is too high :wink:

Im also keen on these struts, imparticular one that clears the trd brace. Keeping my eyes open.
