Border bumper plate location ideas PICS PLEASE!

Post by mattgt »

Trying to work out where to put my number plate. Its a border bumper.

So if you have border front end and have some pics of it with your number plate fitted then please post!

Some seem to recess it into the "mouth" and others attach at the very front on the bottom.

Dont want a stick on job.

Is there a legal placement for the plate? New MOT rules may effect things?

I had this issue too! I finally settled on this :
Sorry for the plate being all deleted out, it's the only picture I had to hand...

Think I will wait untill its fitted and have a play around, I have both UK and Jap sized plates for the front.

@ Tsia

I have a "Midship" badge which i was going to put on mine and I see you have aswell. The Badge has a slight curve to and i wonder how well it fitted border front? Nice and flush?

Pidge! You got the stock fogs to fit?? I asked about this months ago on here and no-one really new if it was possible.

Can you give some idea as to how to mod the brackets?

PM if you like, would really like to keep the stock fogs.

I made my own and attached them directly onto the bumper as the rev6 bumper support bar needs to be cut (or removed like I did) to fit correctly. I'll be making some more soon as the fogs need to fit onto my rev6 bumper :thumleft:
