hi guys, update on my mr2, with the help of my mate we tackled sorting the rear end out, so to start we inspected everything and found to start someone hadn't torqued the driveshafts up correctly so got that done with the help of the coolest snap on torque wrench in the world.

then we noticed a couple of wee cutouts on the subframe, hmm someones clearly broke the captive nuts off before, so we welded new captive nuts in the subframe and welded up the subframe where some guy cut access panels to get the bolts off, so with some plating and welding the subframe is good as new.

so now to the bits i have pics of,i got a nice new set of ball joints and tension arm bushes so got them on, car now handles like a dream, no more clunks or knocks.
