Cheap Phoenix Power Intercooler spotted

Despite what it says, it is PP.

Needs hoses made up though. I'm not the seller, obviously.

Just noticed the postage cost, however you might be able to message an offer to get it a bit cheaper.

needs alot more than that
pipes made up, hoses, clips
also needs the backing plate AND needs the brackets to actually attach it to the body...

Essentially Jim, yours is the same. As your pipework is custom, it's no use to anyone but you for your car. The base plate and brackets are nowt to any engineer to knock up. Shame it's so far away and postage is high. Could of been a cheap quality IC for someone. :thumleft:

I wouldn't agree with that.
There is only 1 pipe with that listing. There is a 3 with mine. 2 of which are genuine pp pipes to fit a stock car. It wouldn't take more a small pipe or hose to join the stock turbo to my 1 custom pipe.

It comes with the genuine plate and brackets, listing doesn't.
Not everyone knows engineers to mock something similar up, even then it wouldn't take 5mins or be free. On top of 2 other custom pipes to make, again not free.
Mine also comes with hoses and a decent SPAL fan.

eBay listing has 2 items, mine around a dozen items in the kit, so no I wouldn't say it's just as useless. But your welcome to your opinion.

Not a dig Jim.

just one small connection needed, but i agree it prob might have by now.

the cheap ICs and cheap exhausts on ebay seem to be reigning supreme these days...noone seems to enjoy going JDM (and going for quality) these days.

Some things just don't justify the cost. Prices were pushed up for 'cool jdm', yes in general they're are better but the cost for PP intercoolers you could charge cool with a decent setup which will give better results.

I'd still like to see a back to back comparison of a pp to a el cheapo ebay item.
