They replaced the standard one with a teflon packed rod end, it does the job but should probably be covered with something to prevent grit getting into the joint.

That's probably the only weak point in the design.

Would self-annealing tape be flexible enough to survive and keep grit out?

Hi folks, I messaged Gon about this and he gave me the OK to post on his GB thread.

I bought a set of these tie rods before christmas for my car. Stupidly, I ordered Mk1a tie rods when I own a Mk1b. I would like to sell my tierods to a Mk1a owner at the group buy price, and then take their place on the group buy and order some Mk1b tierods for myself.

If anyone is interested, please let me know. I can accept paypal and post them to you immediately, or you can come and get them from Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

I have some stock right now. I shall be clarifying USA stock tomorrow. The saving offered in the GB comes from volume purchasing and shipping. Towards the end of the GB i shall order the shortfall, ship by FedEx, and plan to ship out to buyers week 2 of February, i.e. within 14 days of the close of the GB.
