All the legs are folded together which fits(just) through our bulb hole, once they are half way through the springs open the legs and they fan out.

Everything else is as per normal.
We have fitted them to approx 10 MR2's and never had an issue.
They are also designed so than when you want to take them out, as you pull them out of the hole, the legs fold back in again.

Also does an excellent range in all the LED bulbs for the MR2 and makes an awesome job of converting the heating control units WITHOUT having any dull spots
