That's some racket! :) But I presume the MR2 Mk1 spoiler s really purely cosmetic (and dead weight) at road speeds anyway.

It's supposed to help with stability at high speed and in cross winds but I'm not sure about the second bit.

Deno Plumley found that moving it back a couple of inches helped even more with stability of the bum end. :thumleft:

OMFG I'm really not with it today, Barry I edited your post with the response above and removed half of what you wrote, I'm a pleb sorry. #-o :oops:

No worries :) IIRC, I mentioned the X1/9, so maybe it kicked off some deep-rooted editing instinct in you. :D

FWIW, I think the AW11 looks all wrong without a spoiler. But I'm sure it's just deadweight for street speeds.

Sounds raucous. Not a beautiful engine note, rather harsh.
There seemed to be an awful lot of sawing at the wheel. Is that necessary?

Great video. Seems to be very softly sprung, with little grip - he's drifting it nearly everywhere, which would explain the sawing at the wheel.
