Quite alot of mixed opinions on this then. Keep them coming with pics.

I must say, i prefer the way my car looks now with the Rev 3 spoiler fitted.

Don't get me wrong, the Rev 1/2 spoiler looks good, but i think the car over-all with different wheels etc is what makes it. I just don't think my car suited it with small wheels.

I hated the Rev 1/2 rear lights though.

Also, that rolling shot of Gee Man's car looks bloody awesome.

Rev-3 spoiler all the way! The rev-1/2 one looks slightly dated I reckon. Not offended by the rev-5 adjustable one though :D

rev3/4 or 5.

1/2 looks too dated for me, but rev 5 looks like its trying a bit hard at times #-o

People keep banging on about rev 1/2 spoilers & lights being dated, but the MK2 MR2 is hardly a spring chicken!

I can see where you are coming from, but imo, with the likes of the Rev 3/4 or Rev 5 spoiler and rear lights, the car looks alot more modern.

@ 18yrs old, they don't look like a car from the 90s with the later style spoilers.

Kinda seperates them in the same way as the Ferrari 355 and 360.

The MK2 will always be a car conceived in the 80's. I don't see how the later lights and spoiler make them look modern :-k

Rev1 looks integrated and designed in to it unlike later ones that just look "stuck on" IMO

Looks dated, so does a mk1 Escort, AE86 does it make them less appealing ;)

Yeah, I think the rev3 spoiler isn't wide enough and looks stuck on. Rev 5 looks a bit, dare I say it "max power" rev1/2 like you say, looks intergrated into the design :thumleft:

Concieved in the 80s, but with the later revisions (90s) they were made and designed ahead of the game. Granted they are all the same car underneath, but with the revision change, it made them look alot better.

Im not saying they look modern compared to todays standards, but that they look alot more modern than an 18yr old car.

Yep, don't dispute that that. Just re-read my reply. No harshness intended :thumleft:

Early back end is the best look for me -it's what the car was designed for FFS

Rev 1/2 spoier and the lights just look the best for me, it's the best lines for the car...

........Any more recent or combination of the others etc doesn't do it for me and 6 months down the line I haven't found a deent rev 2 worth buying which hasn't had it's rear panels bashed in to a cheap rev 3 fit -so still looking for a decent rev 1/2 shell! :thumleft: :thumleft:
