Difference between Rev 1/2 and Rev 3 engines.....

Post by Nik_L »

As above, im curious as to whats different between the 2 engines to give the Rev 3 motor an extra 12bhp.

Is it bolt on bits that i could remove from my Rev 3 and fit to me Rev 2 or is it a bit more technical than that??

rev 2 is like celica st185
where rev3 is like celica st205

so alot of different

cam is different, fuel rail injector is different, turbo is different, exhaust and intake manifold is different, ecu, afm vs map sensor, wiring loom is different

you can reuse the rev2 shell and strip the rev 3 there, most mechical item is same
