I still like this car.
A lot.
I was going to go for it when it first went up for sale but it was withdrawn for sale for a week or so before becoming available again. In the meantime I bought a BMW M Roadster (which is now for sale actually). If it would sell, I would be all over this car
Good luck with the sale fella, surprised you still have it!
can you tell me about the body work and hood?
Does the body have any rust or bubbles? Scratches dents etc?
What is the condition of the soft top?
Has the V5 been changed to reflect the engine swap?
How much tax is left on it and what is the cost of tax with this engine?
Any service history since the swap? When is the next due?
cheers
Michael
Right!
Car is going on Ebay on Tuesday night for 5 days..
If it doesn't sell, I'll keep the car...no relisting / dropped price, etc.....
Selling with the spoiler/ modded engine cover and the OEM engine cover, but without the hartop / fitting kit...
The satisfying thing here is that I KNOW that next year, someone on here looking at this ad is going to buy a Mk3......
They're then gonna think that they want more power, and go "I know: I'll get a V6 conversion! "
So, after contacting Woodsport and Rogue, and getting the £4000+ quotation, they'll sit down and do the sums..... ......and after factoring in the initial cost of the MK3
They'll realise: "I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A DRIVE-AWAY MK3 V6 FOR HALF OF THAT LAST YEAR....!!!
Final reduction.......!
Only £3600 (without hardtop, etc...!) (That won't even cover the cost of getting your EXISTING Mk3 converted to a V6...!! )
C'mon...summer's on the way.....!

I doubt that: there's about 50 '200's on Pistonheads currently: between £1500 and £3.5k...... ...and zero Mk3 V6's..!
I WILL swap (straight, no cash either way!) however, for a '05-on Corolla T-sport, or a Megane 225.....! (if anyone knows someone with one!?)
