Changed my tubby for a Supra Aerotop

Post by Mr Two »

Hi all
Reluctantly parted with my pride and joy this morning - my 1993 black GTS which i have owned for the last 5 years..Sooo sad to see her go,but she's gone to a good home and hopefully Matt will be joining IMOC now so i can still see her progress :D
I have just purchased a black Supra Aerotop Auto...would have loved to keep both cars but dont want to foot the insurance/tax bill for the both as per new regulations :(..
I will remain a member on here as i have made a lot of friends and it's an excellent and very helpful forum

Anyways...heres the Supra as she is at the moment - hope you like....

I actually did the opposite, changed my 1996 twin turbo with about 360-370 bhp for a 1992 410 bhp mr2. Depends on your driving style and the roads you have around you but im glad i went back to a 2. I have lots of backroads and love revs (got a ek9 type r civic aswell). can drive sensibly out of the power band and can stay in the power when going for it. dont do anything inbetween

Looks awesome matey :thumleft:, but those headlight surrounds need to go! :silent:

Does the aerotop model have a space to put the roof when it's taken off? i.e in the boot or something? I saw an orange one around our way recently without the roof on, and it made me wonder (because I'm sad like that).

Headlight surrounds - bit like marmite really...love em or hate em

Yeh the roof fastens into holders in the boot.
Cheers for the comments :thumleft:

The aerotop only came in NA auto form :) of course most people drop a TT engine in there pretty sharpish, it looks lovely but those light covers need to go, I think you've heard that alot ;)
