Car washed and polished after spending £64 in Halfords on stuff to make it look pretty.
Route checked and printed out and ready for Sat Nav
Me all showered and pimped.
Battery flat.

And the car is reversed into a car port so cannot get the trusty mondeo anywhere near it to jump it. I did have a trickle charger and have now charged over night and it is now reading full so will take it out later.
Was very peed off, so friends invited me round for dinner to cheer me up and did have a good time but was gutted. I had even turned down three other invites for this and then couldn't go. Guess that is the problem with 22 year old car. And there didn't seem to be many Mk1's in the list.

Had a great night, massive thanks to Dave for organising it. Think I spent the whole night talking to various people.
Big thanks for the excellent accommodation at Hotel Toni.
