That will be guaranteed, alot of hard work and money went into that car... I was close to buying it off the member that owned it but couldnt get insurance, now Xxxx has bought it to sell on so dont knock that red one as its a genuine high powered 2

I'm confused, which was it? 440 or 460bhp? 500bhp? 2000bhp?!?!

My bad, was 440bhp + NOS
Re: 700 Bhp MR2 on ebay
When the car was mapped the GReddy IC held up well with minimal heat soak and ample air intake temps...evident that the IC was sufficent to cope.
+ NOS....up to 500bhp....again anyone with experience with NOS, especially Direct port, with small jets, will know this aids with air cooling, the IC wouldnt be pushed anymore than using the setup without NOS.
Its close to the limitations of the current setup but Id be fairly confident it could make the 500bhp, anything above I would be throwing on a charge cooler or bigger boot mount IC.

Having been out in this absolute monster, I can vouch for it's jaw dropping, eye blurring speed It's the most insane car i've been out in that's for sure, and I've been out in plenty of high performance cars.
Just for the record, mine was built by him and has been running 400bhp/365fp for a long time now with the only issue being a cracked downpipe that was welded back up.

Come on chaps. I think we need to give this guy a bit of a break.
Fair enough, it seems as though some people have been dissapointed with stuff but others have been more than happy.
Remember a while back (year or so ago) I was contemplating buying a red forged rev 3 tubby off him. Well after lots of umming and aaring I got it and have had no problems with it. He's only a phone call away when I need advice about bits and bobs and he always takes the time to run through stuff properly. Things like coolant changes, correct oil, etc etc.
I think he knows what he's doing as a mechanic but his adverts due to his grammer/spelling etc lets him down.
I can't agree more about why you'd want to fake time slips etc but it does seem like everyone is out to slag this guy off all of the time.
Don't know why I wrote this now but might as well post it seeing as I'm finished :S
Anway off topic.... nice weather is back in now. Lets all enjoy our cars

Disagree. Once bitten, twice shy.
What are your thoughts on the turning a REV1 into a REV 5 situation? Give him a break for that as well? Not meaning to be rude to you Karl.
If you can't see the angle, you're in trouble.

Yep definitely agree Ollie. Forgot about that one !!
Doesn't do himself any favours with that sort of stuff. I also have no idea why you'd waste your time doing it either.
Well I'll more than likely struggle a bit selling mine in the future with me buying it off him but I'm happy with it for now. It will end up going in to Rogue for a set up and a once over so they'll get anything sorted which isn't. Hopefully that will count for something with them being a reputable firm.
Anyway, enough about selling! I've got Snetterton a week tomorrow. Woop Woop

He pops up every now and then with a dodgy car forsale, most recently with a REV1 Automatic which he was trying to pass off as a REV 5 turbo due to a DVLA mixup with the number plate.
Hope that helps k k k kenny!
would this be the same Xxxx from MR2 racing developments or something like that, maybe that'll explain why he's gone from offering me £3k for my car 3 months ago to £1800 now?

Ouch!

Can you get away with that if you are a car trader?

This car was a NA that has had a rev5 turbo engine transplant, so cheaper insurance if you wish, you can insure the car as a classic or as a NA.

You can if you're a trader with morals so low you're banned off the premier MR2 forum...
