My ariel has developed a strange problem.
Just recently I repaired it with a new mast as the nylon tread in the old one snapped.
This has been working for a couple of months but yesterday the ariel has started to make a clicking noise when it is raised.
When it gets to the top the motor no longer seems to stop and for about 10 seconds there is a clicking sound like the nylon teeth not catching (which is strange as the ariel is already at its top height).When the ariel is retracted it does not make this noise when it is fully down only when raised.
Any ideas anyone, don't want to do any more damage to it as they are a b*gger to fix/replace.
