UK Toyota MR2 MK2 Rev.5 Reg.Sept 1999 (V) 2.0L N/A GT T-Bar in 'Super' Red
Purchased Jan 2010
4 Former Owners
Approaching 79,000 genuine miles
Full service history (some Toyota)
Tax Till 31/3/2012
MOT Till 5/12/2011
Loads of paperwork, including old MOT's to back up mileage
2 sets of keys plus grey master key
Lots of work done and over £2000 spent Since January last year, including:
New alarm siren - siren angled down, to prevent water ingress (the reason they always break!)
New Stainless Mongoose cat-back exhaust
New custom made stainless hi-flow cat - In my opinion just as good as a decat & no worries come MOT time
Stainless Mongoose decat also available for a few extra squids
New radiator including new mounts & alu mesh fitted in front so you shouldn't have to do it again!
Refilled with fresh toyota red coolant
Cooling fan refurbed
New front brake disks and Brembo pads
New front O/S wheel bearing & brake disk cover
Brakes International refurbished rear O/S brake caliper
Refurbed rear N/S brake caliper (myself)
Refurbed front brake calipers (new piston seals in front p.side caliper)
All calipers wire brushed & painted
All brakes bled with fresh fluid
New stainless mesh air filter
Oil & filter change less than 4000 miles ago
Set of new black Rota Slipstreams (lightweight) 16" x 7", Wrapped in Yokohama Parada Spec 2 rubber
205/45/16 which still have plenty of tread left.
New Eibach Pro System 2 hubcentric Alu spacers fitted to rear wheels - cos rear wheels on std mk2's always look tucked in, why is that??
New Pioneer DEH-2220UB Head unit fitted, with spanky usb socket & aux in
New smaller front number plate fitted (still have original)
New battery fitted
New decent quality floor mats
New Gear Knob (still have original)
The car was also fitted with an unbranded cone filter style induction kit when I bought it. All the original Toyota air boxes also come with the car, should you wish to put it back to standard.
The car is in superb condition, bodywork is pretty much rust free and everything works as it should. Sounds fantastic with the mongoose exhaust and induction kit
It's been 100% reliable as you would expect with Toyota. The engine starts and runs perfectly, ACIS system kicks in as it should at around 5500 RPM.
As I've been out of the country for several months last year, the car hasn't done many miles since I bought it last January. I estimate around 6000 miles.
Unfortunately the car didn't come with the bags & blinds.
Reason for selling is purely financial, I have access to another car so can't justify keeping the 2 anymore. Will be sad to see it go...
Looking for £3500 ono
Located in Lancashire
Please note I do have the plastic cover that goes in the frunk under the spare wheel, complete with nice new clips as they always seem to break!

No worries bud, What's your budget? I am open to (sensible) offers too. I know it's quite a lot to ask for a MK2 but I spent a long time looking for a good one, paid a fair bit for it and it's been very well kept since, plus done a few subtle mods. It's had all the MK2 'weak points' addressed - new front radiator, brake calipers refurbed etc. Cam belt was replaced by last owner, lots of work done so it needs nothing

the rear wheels look 'tucked-in' as mk2 MR2's have 1" wider wheels at the back as standard, most aftermarket wheels are single width (you say yours are 7J)
Lovely looking car, if I was in the market for one I'd certainly come and have a look at this one
Good luck with the sale

@ Chris
Yeah, I know the std. wheel setup on MK2's is staggered, but still think the rears looked tucked in even with stock rims. Must just be my weird eyes
