Hello peeps, I'v a 91 rev 2.0 N/A. Iv been using the car a fair bit recently (trying to replace the daily.....don't ask!!!!) driving the car back from work earlier i noticed that it didn't come up to temp then as i drove further it very slowly began to drop even more, by the time I was home it was almost at nothing!!!!
This morning it was fine and the heater still works fine!!
Any ideas chaps?
Many thanks
Steve.

Re: temp issues......help!!
Sounds like faulty temp sensor, air lock in the system or thermostat is stuck!
Maybe try bleeding the system first?

Re: temp issues......help!!
I fiddled with the heater control to bring hot air into the cabin, this got the gauge to drop then when I slid the control down to cold the gauge rose a little but then slowly dropped as I progressed home.

No, I know she needs good quality stuff so sourced an equivalent alternative. That said though it wasn't on O/E thermostat?

You can easily change thermostat and use coolant every time.
