If I were you though, I wouldnt paint the brake discs red.

Looks good, so you spent so far, £300 on the car, £250 on bits & £250 on a spray job = £800?

I doubt you'd get anything for £800 looking like that so bargain.

Start saving for an engine swap next :thumleft:

Don't think he's particularly bothered about the exhaust as he's another one to go on.

That is some stunning paintwork! :thumleft:

Hi,

The car looks awesome, where did you get it sprayed? Did you supply the paint or did they?

Thanks for all the comments. Was sprayed at a bodyshop where my brother works - they allowed me to use all the tools and materials I needed and I just paid for paint, box of discs, top stop and booth time.

Colour was mixed on site using the Super Red II (Chilli) formula using Dupont 2-pack paint. 2 coats - 1st covering whole car (1ltr) and then 2nd going over whole car again in a more concentrated spray (1.5ltr)

Baked for 35 minutes then done. Only took about 15 minutes to paint both coats.

Also got my insurance sorted yesterday - £249 Fully Comp - Sureterm.com couldnt believe it, cheapest i'd been quoted was £450+ so well happy.
