Was told by Norwich Union that aftermarket bronze tint windscreens for the MR2 don't exist. They had to give me a REV1 screen from Toyota with the AM aerial built in.

They do exist, I had one put in my rev 2 last year. Cost me £150 fitted.

Will try to find out who did it . :thumleft:

From what I remember hun I phoned round lots of the local fitters. 2 or 3 of them said they could quite easily get the bronze tinted screens. One said the fitment between imports and UK cars was different.

I know they were local babe, I think they were the guys we contracted in at work...Affordable windscreens (based in Pompey). ? :-k Not sure they'd travel to Essex

Best bet's to try the smaller firms. :thumleft:

I have a windswcreen 1 month old fitted to my Rev1 tubby, I believe it was bronze tinted. If you were happy to arrange someone to take it off my car your welcome to have it for £90. Its in brand new condition.

Im based in Kent near Rochester if its of any interest?

no worries, I dont know if it would make any difference but it has only been in for 7 months opposed to the normal 15yrs+ so your welcome to try.

I will get the companies name of where I got mine from. I did pay cash in hand but they did a great job.
