Stay there Thursday night
Get up bright eyed and bushy tailed Friday morning for an early(6/7/8AM) Ferry
This should see us to Duderstadt late afternoon

Sorry just seen this thread, I live in Folkestone which is about 20minutes from Dover and we have a Premier Inn and a Travelodge within 500metres of the motorway.
Also is anyone still needing ferry tickets? May be able to help out.

Best option for you would be Berlin-Schönefeld, i life really close to this airport and can give you a ride if you want. But i would start to Duderstadt at Thursday evening.
So if you book a flight and you would arrive on Thursday, i can pick you up
