Hi,
After a rather scary trip down the motorway today followed by a huge cloud of smoke, ive discovered my car was leaking oil very badly. Once jacking the car up it seems as if the oil is leaking from a small hole in one of the turbo oil feed lines.
So i`ll need to replace it.
So, where can I buy one? Oh and are they easy enough to change? They look pretty awkward to be honest. Hope its not a turbo out job.
Cheers for any help,
Trev

its not a turbo out job, but definately cat-off job.
Turbo feed lines can be bought off ebay, or call gtschris.

Would having a de-catted exhaust make things easier?
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil Feed Lines - Where from? How Much? Easy to change?
not really... you need clear access under the turbo. the banjo bolt is fiddly and it's easy to break the new line if you don't have enough space.

will I need any new gaskets etc when I replace these lines??
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Oil Feed Lines - Where from? How Much? Easy to change?
Just done this myself man...I couldn't get access to the oilfeed at the turbo end so I would think it better to take the blower off...I was changing the turbo anyway so mine was off.
The 2 steel gaskets for the banjo bolt are totally needed...mine had a steel gasket and a big washer...when I refit the new turbo, I had soooo much hassle re-lining the oil feed pipe up to the banjo bolt hole, because I bent the pipe removing it from the car, that I dropped one of the gaskets without noticing...4 litres of oil on the floor in a big line...I $hit you not, just with that 1 steel shimmy missing...even with the big washer fitted back on it still leaked on to the midpipe and smoked like an arl $hitter at the traffic lights.
The steel gaskets are designed to spread the pressure evenly over the banjo fitting.

Is there anywhere I can order these gaskets online with quick delivery or are they strictly to be bought from Mr T?

i did this a few times now lol ,, can be a sod ,, getting the banjo lined up and gasket in place is a pain in the ar$e ,, just be carefullwith the banjo bolt makesure it goes in striaght ,,,, i removed the metal clamp thats hold the turbo in place ,, then fed a long exntension pole through the there u can reach the banjo bolt pretty easiey
gd luck lost a fair amount of skin of my knuckles doing this

Say again gumbo...so I don't have to disconnect the water feed pipes to get the extension bar to the banjo....brilliant

no mate remove the heat sheild then there a big clamp that fits the turbo to the manidfold ,, 2 bolts undo them , give it a little tap with a hammer should come off,,, then u gotta put the socket on the banjo then feed the extansion between the gap and then give it a gentle tap so it fits into the socket ,, its fiddly and u have to practically climb on top of the engine to get it down
then do the same to fit it back on but i put a tiny bit of sealant on the gasket to hold it in place ,, and makesure it all lines up straight before u tighten it up

I've done the banjo bolt 4 or 5 times now...but will deffo...if I have the misfortune to do it again, I will try it that way.

I removed the actuator to get at the 27mm bolt. Worked a treat, nice easy access. BUT MY GOD I wish I didnt do it like that now. Was a fookin nightmare getting the actuator back on lol.
