Redline MT90 gearbox oil when replacement clutch was fitted

In March the air con was overhauled, pressure tested and re gassed, it now blows ice cold.

When all the parts were fitted the car has always been taken to Ryan@2BarTuning for mapping. The first run saw 318 bhp when i organised a charity rolling road day for the IMOC forum

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94488

Then the forged engine was under taken to produce 377 bhp @ rs tuning in leeds

It then went back to Ryan with a 5bar map sensor, engine had now covered 5000 miles (in 16 months), larger clutch was fitted and made 413bhp last may at Surrey Rolling road

Since then i have bought a house and do not get chance to drive the car. i have covered 30 miles this year in it, and now is time to let it go. i have a huge folder with all the cars receipts / tax/ insurance details.

car has covered approx 20,000 miles in the 5 years that i have owned it, i am the only uk owner. car was imported through paddock car sales.

Bad points

Ding in the middle of the drivers door
Paint work on boot / spoiler / engine bay
small scrape on drivers rear arch/ bumper

Engine/ transmission work carried out by peter @ Sbits, Some miscellaneous parts fitted by rouge motor sport

Car is now 17 years old so don't expect it to be perfect, there are a couple of blemishes and one or two water marks which would come out with a machine polish but i am happy with it as it is.

I will also included a spare set of staggered 16” wheels that i was going to use for a track day but have not got around to it. (bg goodridge tyres / falkens like new)

Very nice car. Good price too.
How much boost did you run to get over 400 bhp? I the same td06 turbo on a st205 chargecooler. Non-forged at the moment though.

Many thanks.

Front mount what?

Chargecoolers use a radiator mounted at the front of the car. Else it won't work. :?

Front mount intercooler not a side mount intercooler ! And I'm pretty sure the charge cooler runs inline with a smic to drop the temp ? And sits onto of engine ! My question was what bhp can a smic/charge cooler take before you need a front mount intercooler one

You'd never fit a FMIC to an MR2. Pipe runs wayyyyy to long.

You'd also be mad to use a SMIC with a chargecooler.

SMICs probably about 300-350bhp.

GT4 chargecooler, 350bhp.

Chargecoolers like the Precision single pass 600bhp+.

So this car would need an updated charge cooler as it's running 400 bhp

As a road car, probably not. If it were a competition car, then yes.

It might make 413bhp, but how often are you likely to be using all that power? And how often do you red-line a car?

Looks a nice car to me.
