Hello

Post by JapPower »

I have two friends who are interested in attending Jap fest. Unfortunately neither of them have a car and I had arranged with an Imoc MR2 owner to take one of them in his car, and I would take the other in mine. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control his plans have changed which leaves me at a loss how to resolve this situation?!

Two questions;

1. Has anyone got a spare seat in their vehicle to accommodate one male or female?

2. Is there a minibus available to accommodate one or both of my friends?

A prompt response would be welcome. :?: :?:

Hi all

I've got a spare stand pass, as provided by Scott. Unfortunatly my car is still at the paint shop - was due to be back here and built back up by now but I've been let down with timings.

Anyway, if it's any use to anyone I can post it first class tomorrow morning, or you could collect of course.

Cheers, Chris

Most people take some if not ALL their cleaning kit to give the cars a good going over whilst they are there :)

Autoglym show shine is always a good option.

I'll be doing a 200mile trip and have always considered putting cling film over the front lol

That's where old lemonade bottles come in handy to fill with water!!

Mines covered in stone chips and scratched on the body work and has no fancy new mods and will look cack next to mels mint nos powered plum beauty but I'm going to get ideas and inspiration! It's always good to put your car on a stand as you can find people that give good advice and it makes it easyer to make comparisons. It's first show I'm going to with my own car, but I've been with friends in there 2's to last years japshow. To be honest you'll spend more time looking around at other cars than worrying about what your car looks like in a glorified car park full of similar cars!! ;)

I've got an interesting noise coming from mine everytime I turn the engine off so we can have a guessing game when I arrive :)
